Advancement
Advancement. The donor CRM that already knows your families.
Fundraising for nonprofit Montessori schools, built into the platform your school already runs on. Your families become your donor records with no re-keying, your graduates become alumni automatically, and your development office of one finally gets software sized for the actual job.

Montessori Makers School, our demonstration school. Every constituent, gift and figure in it is invented.
The problem
Most schools run fundraising in a separate donor CRM that has never heard of their enrollment list. Every family gets typed in twice. Every graduate gets lost. Every board report gets assembled by hand from two systems that do not speak. And the pricing punishes growth: the bigger your list, the bigger your bill. Advancement ends all of it, because the donor database and the school records are finally the same records.
What it does
One record for life.
A family enters MMAP at inquiry and never gets re-keyed. Graduation converts students to alumni with their class year, automatically.
Every kind of gift.
One-time, recurring, multi-year pledges, in-kind, tributes, matching gifts, soft credits, all coded to your funds and campaigns, with restricted funds and endowment purposes honored the way donor intent deserves.
Nothing goes unthanked.
Every gift carries an acknowledgment status, receipts send automatically with compliant language, and year-end statements go out in one action, not one weekend.
The board report that writes itself.
Participation rates by constituency, trustees, staff, current families, grandparents, alumni, computed from your live rosters. No generic CRM can do this, because no generic CRM knows who is enrolled.
Giving pages on your own rails.
Online giving runs on the same payment infrastructure as your tuition, with zero platform fee on every gift and no tip prompts asked of your donors. Ever.
Grandparents, captured gently.
Families share grandparent information through the portal they already use, and your most generous constituency stops living on sticky notes.
The firewall
One more thing, and it is the part I care about most. Advancement cannot see your families’ tuition plans or financial aid status. Not as a policy, as architecture: the permission does not exist in the database. And giving history can never appear in any admissions, enrollment, or classroom context. Your development work and your equity commitments should never be in tension, so we built a wall between them. We do not offer wealth screening, and we are not going to. Schools should know their families, not surveil their capacity.
Switching
Coming from Bloomerang, Little Green Light, DonorPerfect, or Raiser’s Edge? Importers bring your constituents and full gift history over in an afternoon, not a quarter. And your auction and giving-day tools stay: clean exports round-trip with Greater Giving, OneCause, and GiveCampus.
Questions
Does MMAP replace our donor CRM?
Yes. Advancement is MMAP’s fundraising domain: donor records built from your existing family data, gifts and pledges, receipts and year-end statements, campaigns, and board reporting. Importers move your history from Bloomerang, Little Green Light, DonorPerfect, or Raiser’s Edge in an afternoon.
We keep our auction platform. Is that a problem?
No. Keep it. Advancement exports and imports cleanly with the major auction and giving-day tools, so event night data lands back in your donor records without re-keying.
Does Advancement do wealth screening?
No, deliberately. Advancement does not offer wealth screening and will not. Schools should know their families, not surveil their capacity.
Advancement is included in your MMAP trial. Enable it from your school settings, or book a walkthrough.
